The Great Northern Exhibition Baby Show is an opportunity for the general public to choose their favorite babies in six categories. This choice is made by vote all through the Fair up to 10:30am Sunday morning. At that point, the votes are counted, and the entrants are invited to the stage in the Agricultural Building, and the Winners announced.
Contest Rules are below.
SHOW DATE: Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 11:30 a.m.
RULES:
1. Entries must be received NO LATER than MONDAY,
SEPTEMBER 19, 2011. Entry forms and rules available
at GNE Office, Three Peas In A Pod, Collingwood,
or email: felicitykinnear@rogers.com.
2. Each child judged by public attending fair based on
picture of child provided by parent or guardian.
3. The picture of the child should be NO larger than
4” x 6” with NO OTHER PERSON OR ANIMAL INCLUDED.
4. No names will be attached to picture during judging process.
5. There will be 6 age categories:
- 0-12 Months old Boy
- 13-24 Months old Boy
- 25-36 Months old Boy
- 0-12 months old Girl
- 13-24 Months old Girl
- 25-36 Months old Girl
6. Highest number of votes per category will be declared winner.
7. Each vote costs 25¢. Maximum of 8 votes ($2.00) per
person to ensure every child an equal chance.
8. Judging starts with opening of fair on Friday.
Judging
ends at 10:30 a.m. Sunday (1 hour before show).
9. Any person at the fair is eligible to vote.
10. BABIES TO BE PRESENT SUNDAY at 11:30 a.m.
11. All money raised except that awarded for prizes will be
donated to the Fair for use for future baby contests.
12. Completed Entries may also be delivered, in person, to the GNE office up to Monday, Sept. 19th at 5:00 pm.
