Junior Ambassador's Message

Hello, my name is Katja Awender. I had the great honour of being the 2010-2011 Junior Ambassador for the Great Northern Exhibition. We did many things and I had a terrific time. Some things I did were, judge demolition derby cars, and hand out ribbons at the horse pulls, cow shows and fiddle and dance step competitions. I also made a pillow case and rode in a heavy horse wagon with Milton McArthur. I even held a snake around my neck! We didn't have the best of weather, but I had the best time. After the G.N.E., I attended the District 5 meeting in Georgetown and there I met other ambassadors. I will now continue onto Santa Claus Parades and go to the 4-H banquet. Thank you to Lisa Hardisty, Brenda Wilson and Maureen McLeod for chaperoning me this year. I had a great time doing all my duties and I want to wish everyone good luck at this year's fall fair.
